Lerg resins will be produced using electricity with reduced CO2 emissions. Lerg S.A. chose the EKO Biznes product from Tauron’s offer, which has a guarantee of the sale of ecological energy confirmed by the Polish Association of Energy Certification (PTCE).

– As a large chemical company, we are aware of our impact on the environment, including the carbon footprint, and the purchase of the EKO Biznes product will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This action is beneficial for the environment and serves climate protection, and thus contributes to the implementation of the sustainable development goals (SDGs) – explains Andrzej Skowron, Technical and Production Director of LERG S.A.

Lerg is also carrying out investments for the construction of 3 photovoltaic farms with a capacity of 2.7 MW. The expected end of the works is March 2023.
